Mixbook Planet Reports
For the last 7 weeks, students have been learning how to research, take notes, keep track of sources, write an outline, draft and publish a report. Several students published their report through Mixbook, a web 2.0 application that allows students to type and design real books on their topics. That is how many minutes the students in our class read during “Read Across America” week! Our school total was only a little over 12,000 minutes…which means our class accounted for roughly one-third of the entire school’s reading!
Way to go, class! You’re excellent readers and you’re showing great leadership in our school!
